I Won’t

You can trust me,

but you won’t.

Afraid I’d push you?

but I won’t.

Buy a gun.

I won’t point it,

at your head

get some rope,

I won’t leave you,

there to choke.

You look tired.

take some pills,

I won’t give you,

a lethal dose.

You can trust me,

but you won’t.

Afraid I’d push you?

but I won’t.

Describe Your Mind

There’s a word

that can save you from disarray.

A phrase

that can reassure you throughout the day.

They are spells

that take hold inside ones mind.

they can lead to new heights

or suicide.

Words rule the mind.

so tell me,

What is your Kingdom like?

Deathbed

The words that you’ll whisper

before you die

The friends you’ll remember

from time to time

Loves you let linger

and pass you by

My beloved silence

it’s finally time

It said to me

You dream of being a righteous King

but you’re a Tyrant, just like Me.

You’re words and works

will be forgotten

and you’ll die, disregarded!

“that’s alright,

all this writing

can die with me.

And I’m no King, nor want to be.”

Ghosts Below

Grab hold

before we go

down below

into the hole

where spirits roam

They form a sea

and sing to me

of endless woes

sinking me

into the deep

Unfurl the rope

and pull me up

before the sea of ghosts

eat me up

and so I wake

from a dream

the sea of ghosts

wait for me

Sinking People

Calamities cascading.

victims down below,

drowning on their own.

Sinking and weeping.

Nowhere left to go,

and yet keep on breathing.

Hopeful and living,

Soon they’ll start swimming.

Again

Chased by fire

unburning iron

coats my skin

In the fire

I call desire

a restless kiss

Airless breath

gives no rest

cold sets in

Lit horizons

set the stage

A chase begins
